What do princesses, cake and Howie Mac Photo have in common? Probably about one of the cutest birthday parties we've ever had the pleasure of capturing! Seriously, can you get any more adorable?
Little D. just turned five, and her mom, Jessica, knows how to throw a party! Every detail showed just how special this little girl is loved. The party was princess themed, so guests were asked to come dressed in their royal attire, which was so much fun to see princesses running through the playground and in the bounce house. Glass slippers filled with jellybeans, tiaras, jewels ... I'm telling you details, people, details! Simply amazing. There was even a princess cake, made by my good friends at Sweetie's Delights.
And as if the amazing party wasn't enough, Little D. is adorable. Such a sweet and beautiful little girl. I was so happy to be a part of her special celebration. Time flies so quickly. One day you're kissing on your newborn baby ... the next day she's turning five, loves princesses and you're throwing her the best party you can think of. So much fun. Oh, and did I mention that Little D.'s little sister is cute as a button too! Such lucky parents to be blessed with such cuties :)

Tampa Family Photographer - The Sweetest Thing.
I love cake.
Especially birthday cake.
Even more so if it's birthday cake from Sweetie's Delights Bakery.
This sweet shop is the best in the area, and I was lucky enough to have them create my birthday cake this year. Naturally, I wanted to do something complicated, like, oh I don't know ... make a camera ... that you can eat. Sweetie's didn't even bat an eye at this challenge. Just look at the final masterpiece. Believe it or not, that whole thing is edible. And trust me, I know. I think I ate that cake for every meal until it was gone (which wasn't long in my house)!
So, I'm telling you, you need to check out this bakery. Do it. And just for a little extra icing on top, if you get your birthday cake, baby shower cake, smash cake, etc. from Sweetie's Delights, Howie Mac Photo is offering 10% off you entire photo purchase for capturing your special day! Now that's a sweet deal. (I know. I'm a dork.)
Here are the pics of my birthday cake, long gone. Now I need to find another reason to order more cake.

Tampa Family Photographer - B is for Birthday!
I love birthday parties - not only for the cake, but also for the amount of love that surrounds someone on their special day. Baby L.'s first birthday party was no exception. This little guy has a great family and sweet friends who all simply adore him (he's pretty irresistible). And his parents! His parents are awesome - so funny and so sweet. He's got to be one of the luckiest little guys to be so loved by so many people.
So, Baby L.'s first birthday party was classic and relaxed - and it was all about the alphabet! Everything from the invitation to the flash cards hanging from a clothesline at the party to the homemade cookie party favor featured this adorable theme. John and Nicole did such a great job putting together this celebration. Thanks so much for letting me be part of this special day!
And probably my favorite part of all. P is for PICTURE! As you've seen in previous sessions, Baby L. has a head FULL of beautiful hair. So, to celebrate these curly locks of awesomeness, John and Nicole decided to do a photo booth ... with wigs ... that look like Baby L.'s hair!!! I can't tell you how sad I am going to be when he gets a hair cut, but we will always have these hysterical pictures to remember how he rocked his locks during year one!

Tampa Family Photographer - Baby Birthday Party!
Long time, no post, huh? Well, hopefully it's worth the wait.
Last month, I had the pleasure of photographing my dear friend's baby's first birthday party. Baby W. had a tea party with all of her closest friends and family (including my Baby L.). This was was one of the cutest things I've ever seen - little ones running around with tea pots, cups and hats! Baby W. managed to stay awake the whole time, so I'm sure she slept good that night! And her big brother, Little C., was happy to assist when it was time for birthday cake. Little C. and I had so much fun that we did a mini photo shoot in the park! This family is so sweet and dear to my heart...and these kids are too cute for words :)
