Gigi and the Twins - Tampa Family Photographer

As someone who grew up two doors down from her grandparents, I can tell you that extra bit of love so very close is one of the most special things in the world. Grandparents serve this special place in a child's life. And looking back on my experiences with my grandparents overwhelms my heart with love and happiness.

I was lucky enough to be able to capture some special moments for this grandmother and her 5-yr-old twin grandchildren. That's right. I said 5-YR-OLD TWINS. So, you KNOW this is a special grandmother we are talking about. Making pizza, gardening, going for a walk, silly faces, playing inside. These twins have such a good time with their Gigi. Their relationship is amazing to watch and their love is even more outstanding. Being able to spend time with Gigi and the twins really helped me appreciate all of the special moments I had with my own grandparents. Below are some of my favorites from our adventure. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Divine Moms...Divine Friends - Tampa Family Photographer

I became a mom a little over two years ago. When I was pregnant, Jess was one of my "rocks". She is one of the sweetest and most sincere people I know. Jess was one of the other moms I knew who gave me advice...little tidbits of information that in a few short months I would look back on and be thankful for my friendship with her.

When Jess told me that she was involved with Divine Moms, I was instantly interested. She and Aly wanted to connect with moms. They wanted to share the sweetness of motherhood and have a way to pull together local, Tampa resources to share with everyone. Great places to eat, fun things to do with the family, awesome places to shop. When you talk with Aly and Jess about Divine, you can hear the passion in their voice. They LOVE being a part of this special experience. And I can tell you that they have even bigger plans around the corner for Divine - a new website, new resources, new events! Head over to Divine on Facebook and "like" their page - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Divine/278292181490. And if you fill-out their survey, you could be entered to win a Howie Mac Photo mini session!

So, I wanted to do something special for Divine, and for Jess and Aly. I wanted to capture the essence of Divine Moms. So, we had a super-fun session with them and their super-fun daughters! Below are just a few of my favorites.

The M Family - Just Like Home - Tampa Family Photographer

I'm not sure if it's just me, or if every family photographer feels this, but every now and then I fall in love with my families. Okay, so most of the time I fall in love with the families I photograph. I've had the chance to hang out some very special crews and capture the sweetest that earns them the title "family." I've been blessed to be able to enjoy my time with them and while I'm taking their photographs, they are capturing my heart. I know people, I know. I'm super mushy! I can't help it.

Speaking of families that I LOVE, let's take a look at the M family's recent session. Oh boy. These little ones melted my heart. They totally brought out the dork in me. I'm talking silly, ridiculous, making-a-fool-of-myself-in-Hyde-Park Tina. Did I bark like a dog to get a giggle? Maybe. Was I twirling the littlest one around in circles just for fun? It's possible. Was I renamed "Funky, Cold Miss Tina"? ABSOLUTELY! But more than anything, I had fun (and I think maybe they did too!)

So, check out their sneak peak...and get ready to fall in love :)
