Long time, no blog, huh? I've still been photographing some of my favorite people on Earth, but I just haven't made the time to blog about it. Well, my half-New-Year's resolution is to be better about that!
So, some of you may remember this guy below. Baby L, who is now almost two years old and has therefore earned the name...Little L:
Well, I was lucky enough to catch-up with this little guy when I visited with his family to photograph his LITTLE BROTHER, Baby J! If you've been following my blog for the past year or so, you know that I LOVE this family. John and Nicole are such great people, and such great parents. I absolutely love seeing them grow their family and am honored that they chose me to capture this special time in their lives. Below are some of my favorites of Baby J. As usual, I had a hard time choosing, so there's quite a few to enjoy.
And, just because I couldn't resist chasing this little guy around the house, here are a few more of Little L:
John and Nicole - I love you guys. Thanks again for letting me be a part of this with you all. Your little guys are nothing shy of amazing - guess it runs in the family :)

Misti and Ron are Freakin' Married!!!
So, weddings are a big deal. And weddings are an even bigger deal if you're a photographer, and you're capturing your dear friends special day. I had to pleasure of experiencing this first hand with Misti and Ron's wedding. And I can't tell you how exciting and rewarding this experience was for me. To watch two people who you adore make a commitment to each other forever. To watch the pride in their families' eyes. To hear the joy in their friends' voices. And to be a part of their everlasting memories of this day. I was so honored. M&R - thank you for trusting my with your special day. I love you both!
Soooo, without further adieu, here are just a few of my favorites from their amazing wedding at the Cross Creek Ranch in Dover, FL.

Long Overdue Thanks ...
There are many ways that you to tell someone how much you appreciate them.
There's the obvious one - THANK YOU!
There's this corny one - I APPLAUD YOU!
There's a dorky one - NO ONE HOLDS A CANDLE TO YOU! (Insert obligatory candle clip art here).
For the past several months, I've been trying to figure out the best way tell my dear friend, Emily, how grateful I am for her. Not only is Emily an amazing friend; she's a ridiculously talented designer. I'm talking RIDICULOUS, people. And, I'm not just bragging about her because she's my friend. Seriously. I'm bragging about her because she designed my entire Howie Mac Photo brand - no templates, just pure collaboration and awesomeness. From late night phone calls to Saturday afternoon blog-building to inspirational don't-give-up-on-your-dream chats, she has not only created the visual personality of Howie Mac Photo, she's been on this journey with me from day one. I feel like she's a permanent part of the company, and I don't know what I'd do without her.
So, that being said, I have four things to say to you, friend.
#1 - THANK YOU.
#2 - YOU ARE AWESOMELY AMAZING.
#3 - I'M LUCKY TO HAVE YOU AS MY FRIEND.
#4 - I LOVE YOU.
So, all of that being said, I was to brag a little more. Here are some of the pieces that Emily created for me. I was in love the moment I saw what she created. In fact, the thing I was most critical of was my own freaking photography :)
Amazing, right? I agree.
