A Moment. Baby J's 3-Month Session. Tampa Baby Photographer

Sometimes when I'm photographing, especially little kiddos, I have what I call a "moment." It's a special shot or a second when my camera is taking a photo, but so is my memory (and for those of you mushes, my heart too). It's a moment where everything stands still ... where my heart melts a little bit ... where I think to myself "this is why I do this." Every photographer experiences it, but I don't know if they cherish it as much as I do?

When I was taking Baby J.'s 3-month photos, I had a "moment."

Words cannot explain how much I love this photo. I'm not tooting my own horn. This has nothing to do with me or my camera. This is all about Baby J. This picture, that look, makes me want another baby. It makes me miss when my baby was this little and quiet. It makes me cry. And it makes me appreciate every sweet, special second that I've had with my own little bean.

Photography means a lot to me, and "moments" like these are what it's all about. So, what about the rest of Baby J.'s shoot? You got it.

Some of you may remember Baby J. from his newborn shoot. This little one has grown so much in three months, it's amazing. Take a look:

All I have left to say is that this family is very blessed. Two great parents and two super awesome kids. I can't wait to see how their family has grown in three more months!

Meet Baby C.

Baby C. is a lucky little girl because she was welcomed into the world by two very awesome parents.

There is no doubt in my mind that Baby C. will grow up to be a sweet and funny little girl. Her parents are smart and humorous, patient and loving. I am so excited to see her grow and learn how to become as amazing as her parents are. Best wishes to Sophia and Josh as they journey through the wonderfully wacky world of parenthood. Your baby girl is simply beautiful - nice work!

Ryan and Dana are Married!! - Tampa Wedding Photographer

A couple month ago, I had the honor of photographing Ryan and Dana's beautiful wedding in St. Petersburg. Watching two genuinely good people who love each other make the commitment to love and support each other for the rest of their lives is something truly special. Ryan and Dana are all of those things... and a whole lot more. I can't put into words how much it meant for me to capture their special day. And, a special thanks to my partner in crime for the day - Cyndy from Petit Amour Photography. I would not have been able to do this without you :)

Welcome Baby J! - Tampa Newborn Photographer

Long time, no blog, huh? I've still been photographing some of my favorite people on Earth, but I just haven't made the time to blog about it. Well, my half-New-Year's resolution is to be better about that!

So, some of you may remember this guy below. Baby L, who is now almost two years old and has therefore earned the name...Little L:

Well, I was lucky enough to catch-up with this little guy when I visited with his family to photograph his LITTLE BROTHER, Baby J! If you've been following my blog for the past year or so, you know that I LOVE this family. John and Nicole are such great people, and such great parents. I absolutely love seeing them grow their family and am honored that they chose me to capture this special time in their lives. Below are some of my favorites of Baby J. As usual, I had a hard time choosing, so there's quite a few to enjoy.
